About Me

Philosophy. Translation. Writing. Content.

Born in the Old City of Jerusalem to a British mother and an Israeli father, English and Hebrew have been part of my life from day one. I started translating from Hebrew to English (and initially also from English to Hebrew) at university and, as time passed, moved from translating student papers and theses to children’s books, plays, scripts, short stories and novels. While studying and translating, I also started working as a content writer, learning the ins and outs of what was at the time the new way of communicating words and ideas to “users” online.

I graduated from the Democratic Experimental School in Jerusalem, acquired a BA in Philosophy at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 2003 and an MPhil at the Tel Aviv University in 2007.

In 2015, I moved from Tel Aviv to Berlin with my husband and children.

English and Hebrew are both my mother tongues. I studied French at school and university (to advanced level) and have been learning German since moving to Berlin.
