Magazines: Writing, Editing & Translating
Blurbs, restaurant reviews and full scale articles, my magazine work created the foundation of my writing and taught me how to find the right flow.

Time Out Magazines
2004-2011
I started working for Time Out Tel Aviv in 2004, and in the following six years wrote pieces for the Hebrew and English editions (Time Out Israel). My main focus was food and travel (restaurant critiques, food news, lists), but I also wrote about fashion, style and other topics. My experience in Time Out was an excellent introduction to magazine and marketing writing.

Block Magazine: Architecture
2007-2008
"Block—City/Media/Theory/Architecture", was a multidisciplinary urban magazine that focused on the theory of architecture and design. The magazine was an active artistic force in Israel, creating exhibitions and publishing articles by key figures in the academic world. As part of my work, I translated articles, from English to Hebrew and Hebrew to English, and edited the English texts that appeared in the magazine.

Atmosphere Magazine
2009-2010
In 2009, I took on the position of English editor of Atmosphere Magazine, a tourist magazine created by the publishers of Time Out Israel and distributed by El Al Airlines. The magazine focuses on Israel and exciting tourist destinations across the globe. I was the head editor of the English section and translator of all articles into English. My job there included preparing the magazine for print every month.
